—ÉQUIPE/CREW — Scénario/Screenplay : Elias Djemil Photographie/Cinematographer : Stéphane Thériault Montage/Editor : Elias Djemil, Stéphane Thériault Son/Sound : Mathieu Grégoire, Alexandre Côté Musique/Music : Mathieu Grégoire, Alexandre Côté Direction artistique/Artistic director : Sophie Boonen, Jean-Nicolas Demers Avec/With: Marie-Chantale Desrosiers — BIO — EN: Sensitive traveler of the world of stories, explorer filmmaker in search of a universal language, a photographer with a discreet eye wanting to capture reality in its most authentic forms, Elias Djemil is an artist who wants to distinguish himself by his understanding of the world we live in and the one we aspire to. — FESTIVALS — - 2018 - Special Screening | Festival de Cinéma de la Ville de Québec, Canada In Competition | Thessaloniki Cinedance International, Greece In Competition | 40 North Dance Film Festival, USA Nominated ""Best Experimental"" | Prisma Awards, Italy In Competition | Guiar - Screendance Int Fest, Brazil In Competition | The White Light City Film Festival, USA In Competition | International Sound & Film Music Festival, Croatia Best Dance Film | Aphrodite Film Awards, USA Best Cinematography | Independent Shorts, Australia Best Experimental Film | Independent Shorts Awards, USA In Competition | North Dakota human rights film festival, USA Best Cinematography, Best Actress | Roots of Europe International Film Festival, Spain Best Performance | EXPERIMENTAL/MUSIC/DANCE Film Festival, Canada In Competition | Greensboro Dance Film Fest, USA In Competition | Videoskin, India In Competition | Lugano, Switerland In Competition | 6 on Nebraska, South Africa In Competition | Culver City Film Festival, USA In Competition | Phoenix Dance Film Festival, USA Best Achievement | Berlin Flash Film Festival, Germany Honorable Mention | DaVinci Film Festival, USA In Competition | Summershort Festival, USA In Competition | Cacique Independant Film festival, USA In Competition | FliQs, Canada - 2019 - In Competition | Copa Shorts Film, USA Best Dance/Experimental | Hyperwave Film Awards, USA Best Cinematography | Festival Interactif de Cinéma de Lévis, Canada In Competition | [C]Screen Festival - Screendance Spring, Spain In Competition | Global Short Film Awards, USA In Competition | KOQIX INDIE FEST, Italy In Competition | Lights Dance festival, Canada In Competition | White Nights Film Festival, Russia Best Experimental Film | Vegas Movie Awards, USA In Competition | Festival Créativa, Québec In Competition | SBE's 11th Annual Hamilton New York International Film Festival, USA In Competition | Benicia Film Festival, USA In Competition | Mexico City Independent Film Fest, Mexico In Competition | Kadoma International Film Festival, Japan In Competition | Flatlands Dance Film festival, USA Best Film | Saint-Petersburg International Film Festival (SPIFF), Russia In Competition | Rendez-Vous Québec Cinéma, Canada In Competition | Golden City Short Film Awards, South Africa In Competition | Buenos Aires Film Festival, Argentina - 2020 - In Competition | Cinema on the Bayou, USA ____________ www.spira.quebec/en/film/342-franciszka.html

cubique presents⎪Dakota & Nadia - ne me quitte pas

"Ne me quitte pas" (Don't Leave Me) The short film deals with the more than current topic of domestic violence in an unmistakable and emotionally touching way through dance. Director Brigitte Fässler and her team stage the dance performance of Dakota&Nadia, with which the dance couple has touched the hearts of millions, in a pink cube that is increasingly transforming from a place of security into a threatening prison. The ambivalent atmosphere between love and hate escalates into a dizzying spiral of violence from which there seems to be no way out.
